We first heard of Pipe Works from Service Magic a few years ago. I thought that this would be a reputable reference from a reliable source so I contacted Pipe Works when I had a problem with my basement ejector pump. I was told that my old ejector pump motor was no good and that I needed a new ejector pump. I was charged $950 for a new ejector pump and labor when all that was needed was to remove a pair of underwear which was seizing the impeller of my old pump. I removed the underwear in less than thirty seconds and the pump ran fine. This is something that the plumber could have, and should have done and charged me a lot less money. We have used Pipe Works a few times before and although we felt they were expensive we didn't expect this kind of treatment. I have even recommended Pipe Works to friends and family in the past. I’m sorry to say that I will no longer recommend them to anyone. We will not use Pipe Works again.
