We had PIPE WORKS come to our house for some service work and they were exceptional. The plumber, who is also the owner, was knowledgeable and very nice. They were also very reasonable. We had our two bathrooms gutted and renovated (new fixtures and new lines run). We had the kitchen upgraded with new appliances (heating moved behind wall and lines run). Since we liked the work PIPE WORKS performed we has a new heating system put in by them. We had radiant heat put in our kitchen and dining room and a new indirect hot water heater put in. We had a wonderful experience with PIPE WORKS PLUMBING & HEATING, They were professional and they showed up when they said they would The workers were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. We had a lot of work going on in our house at once and it was nice to deal with such a great plumbing company. Pros: Courteous, professional, exceptional work. more

I am not at all happy with the service I received from this company. Showed up late for appointments, lame excuses were given for not finishing aspects of my job. Very shabby short cuts were taken because of laziness. I don't want to give the exact scenario but anyone, with any sense could tell that the he was taking the easy way out rather than doing it correctly. Empty boxes and packing materials were left thrown on my floor. An entire system was replaced without my prior authorization or approval for an astronomical cost. I found Pipeworks Plumbing & Heating through service magic. They initially began work for the roughing on my new construction project. After roughing was completed they never showed back up to complete the finish for the project which is now over 1 year since we signed our agreement. They would never return calls and conducted themselves in an unprofessional manner. They would make false promises of showing up next week or the week after which came and passed with no one showing up, and would not give you the courtesy of a phone call that they can't make it. The work of the plumbers who worked under the master plumber was sloppy since no one supervied their work. The Jacuzzi tubs ere installed with no mud to hold them in place. I need to hire another plumber to come and redo the tubs and complete the finish since Pipeworks abandoned my project. To say I have been disappointed with Pipeworks Plumbing & Heating is an understatement. I would not recommend or use them again for any plumbing or heating projects. We first heard of Pipe Works from Service Magic a few years ago. I thought that this would be a reputable reference from a reliable source so I contacted Pipe Works when I had a problem with my basement ejector pump. I was told that my old ejector pump motor was no good and that I needed a new ejector pump. I was charged $950 for a new ejector pump and labor when all that was needed was to remove a pair of underwear which was seizing the impeller of my old pump. I removed the underwear in less than thirty seconds and the pump ran fine. This is something that the plumber could have, and should have done and charged me a lot less money. We have used Pipe Works a few times before and although we felt they were expensive we didn't expect this kind of treatment. I have even recommended Pipe Works to friends and family in the past. I’m sorry to say that I will no longer recommend them to anyone. We will not use Pipe Works again. Pros: Returns Phone Call Cons: Charged for Ejector Pump which was not needed more
