We have not had the best experiences with Lakeshore Animal Hospital. There have been times when they were less than compassionate with our dog, as well as really not seeming to have her best interest at heart. One one visit, they implanted a microchip into her shoulder blades which was very painful for her instead of just waiting a month or two until she was fixed to do it while she was under anesthesia. For a long time after that she would not let us touch her shoulder blades or apply her Frontline. She also had some gastrointestinal issues for a short time and the doctor told us she had a food allergy and would have to switch to (their) special food. We followed up with our breeder and resolved this problem quickly (she still eats the same food she always has). We would really like to feel that we can trust our vet with our pet's health and well being, and we do not feel this way about Lakeshore Animal Hospital.
