My first experience at Mikuni's was at this location - what a blast! It was the most lively sushi restaurant I've ever been to...and it was here that I discovered the tasty Marilyn Monroll!
Yes, it was a long wait...but it was a Saturday night.
Yes, it was pretty expensive...but it was worth it.
Mikuni is great for most people's idea of Japanese food and they'll be wowed by the variety of specialty rolls...but if you're looking for an authentic, high-quality ""traditional"" sushi experience, don't come here. You'll be disappointed.
Pros: 12 o'clock (decorated raw oysters), Marilyn Monroll
Cons: It's not an authentic ""traditional"" sushi experience.
