This place is all trend and no substance. Here are better places to go for Sushi - Miguros, Zen Toros, Safeway, Nishiki, Hard Rock Cafe, Outback Steakhouse, McDonald's (the McFish sandwich is better than most sushi at Mikunis). I went to the downtown location. The wait was 3 hours, the service was slower than molasses in the Arctic in January, the drinks had merely a sprinkling of alcohol, not nearly enough to numb my tastebuds to the taste of the sushi, the crowd was loud and quasi-/pseudo-pretentious, the food was morbidly expensive, the ambiance was fatally flawed and the wasabi had no kick. If you have to go here for a business lunch because people at your office don't know any better, order rice and edamame. Even though the rice was overcooked and the edamame was too, at least you won't be spending much money or risking exposure to Chickenella or Giardia or Streptococci or Enterococci or Enterobacteriaciae or Ebola.
Pros: Eye candy everywhere
Cons: Too numerous to list
