Trust the other online reviews. These people are rude and apparently uninterested in getting business.
I just got off the phone with one of the rudest shop owners (or so he claimed he was) I've dealt with. I've never known a shop to be so dismissive and threatening to a potential customer. My crime was asking for an estimate. His very first response was rude and dismissive - it wasn't even a slow build up, just straight out of the box rude
As a former auto shop employee, I can tell you that estimates can be hard to gauge sometimes. Part prices vary from make to make, etc. But any reputable shop knows some rough costs on things like, in this case, sharpening a blade - and from my experience with other lawnmower shops, this isn't a hard estimate to provide if you know what you're doing. At the very least, an intelligent employee will ask some questions and try to win your business.
Instead, this guy told me that he ""had 100 people in the shop and didn't have time to baby me"" and threatened to take me to court ""for harassment"" when I called back and asked to speak to the owner/manager (which he then claimed to be).
Not only did they lose a potential customer before I even walked in the door, but they just ensured that a local, who lives very near them and whose spouse works in the community and communicates with the locals/neighbors daily, will be telling everyone they know the story of the incredibly rude Mableton Lawnmower shop that cried harassment when asked for an estimate. It's a funny story, but it won't help their business one lick.
But don't just take it from me - read the other reviews as well. They're treating people like this before and after they walk in the door. Go anywhere else.
Cons: Rude before you even walk in the door
