I have recently stopped going to this theater. The assigned seats have some advantages, like if you get your tickets early you don't have to worry about getting stuck front row. The downsides for me have been people coming in late and not being able to find there seats (just wondering up and down the aisles) or disrupting the movie because everyone in the row needs to slide down one seat. I think this idea would only really work well if they also bring back the usher to help people find there seats.
Or just assign seats to potentially full movies. If there are only a small hand full of people do they really need assigned seats?
