Hertz dispatched a Negoshian tow truck to free my rental car from snow behind my garage, telling me there would be no additional charge for labor. They got the car unstuck, but in the process the driver backed his truck into my garage, causing damage. When freed, the vehicle was no longer aligned properly. The driver left claiming Hertz would cover the charge. Two weeks after returning the car, Hertz charged my credit card $250, claiming it was authorized for the tow. I promptly had my bank reverse the charge, which they did, but Negoshian still has not sent anyone to appraise the damage to the garage. They expect to have someone out in two months and were not apologetic or cooperative. If they do not make it right I will take them to small claims court. Negoshian AND Hertz both hung me out to dry.
Birds of a feather flock together. My advice: avoid both of them like herpes.
