I love Simply Splendid! the donuts are excellent. They are not too sweet like Krispe Kremes, in fact I think those are deadly. Simply donuts have a different kind of chew to them. Dunkin is kind of dry to me. I do love Shipley's donuts. they have a nice flaky kind of sweetness to them, and great when they're fresh and hot. Being a native Texan, Shipley's will always be one of my favorites, but i think Simply is rising to the top of my list. Simply donuts do not melt in your mouth like Shipley's does. They have a different consistency. It has the perfect cheweyness. And whether fresh and hot or maybe half a day old, it still has that same great chew like fresh bread or a good chewey cookie. If you're looking for a donut that doesn't have a lot of air in it like Shipley's, go to Simply Splendid.
