-- doesn't know the first thing about proper duct work. Had never heard of a splitter vane in a radius elbow. Thinks return air is pulled and therefore doesn't need to be concerned about friction losses. (A common mistaken belief)\r

The load calc they did was so overdone I can only assume they were trying to upsell more equipment. They came up with 10 tons of A/C needed for my house. A proper load calculation showed I only needed 5.\r

When approached about it, they're response was ""This is the way we've done things for 30 years"" If you want work done by a company who's prideful that they're still using 1980's know-how, give 'em a call. You'll get 1980's efficiency too.\r

Don't waste your money buying HVAC equipment from them, because any high efficiency unit you spend money on is useless if the ductwork is horribly inefficient.
