Good place for lunch; reasonable prces, good cajun-type food 3/12/2009

I have never eaten dinner here, only lunch. There are numerous lunch entrees I like, all of the cajun/gulf coast variety--soft shelled crab or oyster po-boys, jambalaya, fried green tomatoes, etc. Good beers on tap, featuring Abita Turbo-Dog and Abita Amber. The main dining room is NOISY due to the old-fashioned tiles on the ceiling, probably, and the fact the place is always filled to near-capacity. If you have a chance and want a quieter meal, dine in the bar area. Pros: Decent gulf coast food, inexpensive lunch menu Cons: noisy dining room (try the bar) more
