A person calls one week asking for a donation and scheduling a pick-up date. The evening before that scheduled date another person calls with a reminder. I sort through things and fill up a large trash bag full of clothes, books, etc..., set it on my porch at 7am with AMVETS written on it. I come home from work this evening and it's still setting there. So, I call Amvets----- and find out they weren't picking up in my zip code area today. ? ? ? ? ? ? Then why was it scheduled?
This is the 2nd time this has happened. I love to help out, but let's get the communication straight and save the hassle.
