First Cab Ride Experience 2/18/2009

My husband just had knee surgery and this is his first experience with cabs. We called Broadway cab, a female answered the line & she was very nice & answered all my questions. We then set up a time for the cab to arrive. The first cab driver arrived early knowing my husband was on cruches and was very polite - limited english - but very polite. This cab ride went well.\r \r The cab ride on the way home was a different driver. This guy was also limited english - didn't have a clue as to where he was going - his car smelled very bad like body odor and up chuck. When I called a couple days later for another cab for his next appt a male answered the phone, he isn't so helpful. I told him about the last cab ride & how it smelled bad - he asked if I knew the cab #. I said no - don't you have records of who picked him up? He then said no - we only keep information for 24 hours so unless you have the cab # I can't help you with that. After each question or comment - the guy was like ""ok thanks bye!"" I said wait!! We haven't even set up the cab yet. \r Now we've had 3 cab rides - I wouldn't ever suggest riding in any cab unless one absolutely has too! more
