I was given a incorrect diagnois of my dog. I was told he had hip dysplasia.( x-rays taken) bringing him back in several times because of concerns(not using the leg at all) Money for treatment was not an issue as I would have paid whatever it took to make him comfortable, I even suggested more x-ray's. Having a dog years ago that did have hip problems and conparing things just didn't add up. .I was told that nothing else could be done and giving meds for pain was bascially the only option. I found another doctor out of town that I knew was a good orthopedic vet. Needless to say after the correct x-rays; it showed no hip problem but in fact a severe ACL injury of the knee. Surgery was immediate ; back to using his leg again. I had no problems with Villa Rica Animal hospital until I this happen.
