I was given a incorrect diagnois of my dog. I was told he had hip dysplasia.( x-rays taken) bringing him back in several times because of concerns(not using the leg at all) Money ...

This is one of the cleanest vet offices I've been too. They keep everything cleaned and organized. The office runs on schedule, I don't wait long for appointments. They've even fit me in last minute when I needed. They are constantly showing how much they care for animals. more

They are all very great with pets. My dog is a little rambunctious and gets excited when he sees new people but they all handle him very well. They know he is full of energy and they take great care of him. more

Everything is run smoothly at Villa Rica Animal Hospital. I love that when I go in I never have any problems, we are seen quickly. The staff truly cares for animals and are very interactive. I wouldn't go anywhere else! more

My animals are like family members, so I want only the best care possible for them. Villa Rica Animal Hospital provides just that. I never never been dissatisfied or let down by the staff there, I am always so pleased with everything they do. From the time we walk through the door, to the time we leave, it is a pleasant experience and I know my animals have become comfortable there. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else! Great Experience 1/29/2010

I have nothing but good things to say about our experience at VRAH. We took our terrier in when she hurt her leg. The front desk staff were very helpful and attentive. The wait was short on each of our visits. The vets and technicians were very compassionate and caring. I was surprised that the price was so reasonable. When we need a vet again, this will be the place we go. Pros: kind, compassionate, courteous and reasonably priced more

good vets lousy front desk 1/21/2010

We have had 2 cats and 2 dogs treated here. Dr Daniell is very good with the animals and spends as much time as we need for talking through options. Dr. Leathers is compassion itself and cares more about the animals than draining your wallet. When our 22-year-old cat finally needed to rest, Dr. Leathers was just great at a very difficult time. The techs are willing to do what it takes to keep a very skittish german shepherd from too much stress. The front desk staff, however, is nasty, unhelpful, deceitful and care nothing for the pets or the owners. Watch out when dealing with them, and stand your ground. btw: I've always been able to talk with a vet via phone when I ask, and they are very gracious and helpful. No personal attention,very unprofessional.And not compasstionate towards your animal..I was very disgusted with the service that was giving to my pet.I have had my dog milly for over 6 years and has been the best dog ever.I am becoming a fostercare parent and had to get a temperment test on my dog.But come to find out they did a very painful test which involved pulling and tugging on my babys leg which she has a acl tear on both legs and causes her muscles to tear and takes pain meds for it as needed..And of course she growled at the doctor and in his 5 years of vet care demmed her an agressive animal because she growled at him.i think any dog would do that,did he except she would turn to him and lick him in the face NO..Now she has been limping all day due to his lack of intelligence and a educted vet.I am putting in a compliant with the state board of vet medicine tomorrow..Please do not take your dog to these vets. Pros: no pros at all Cons: that someones pet will be hurt and treated poorly more

GREAT TEAM 10/28/2009

When I drive into the parking lot and my dog's tail begins to wag, that says it all. \r \r I have found the staff to be very friendly and well trained. When I have one of my dogs there, I tend to call a lot to check on them. I am always treated well.\r \r Dr. Daniell will sit in the floor to examine our LARGE dog and she feels at ease with him. I feel his love of animals each time we are there.\r \r I went in after work once to pick up our dog, Mayson, and found the staff playing with him . He was having the time of his life. He wasn't ready to go home and they played with him as long as he wanted to play.\r \r We recently got rather sad news about one of our beloved pets. Dr. Leathers was so caring as he gave us our options.\r \r Drs. Daniell and Leathers, along with the staff have helped us to maintain a good quality of life for our precious girl. Very Disappointed 2/23/2009

I was given a incorrect diagnois of my dog. I was told he had hip dysplasia.( x-rays taken) bringing him back in several times because of concerns(not using the leg at all) Money for treatment was not an issue as I would have paid whatever it took to make him comfortable, I even suggested more x-ray's. Having a dog years ago that did have hip problems and conparing things just didn't add up. .I was told that nothing else could be done and giving meds for pain was bascially the only option. I found another doctor out of town that I knew was a good orthopedic vet. Needless to say after the correct x-rays; it showed no hip problem but in fact a severe ACL injury of the knee. Surgery was immediate ; back to using his leg again. I had no problems with Villa Rica Animal hospital until I this happen. Cons: Incorrect diagnois more

Poor Service 11/21/2008

I have many a time heard the doctor yelling at the staff in front of clients. The staff is ever changing with only 3 or 4 having been there for any lenght of time. The ladies at the front desk are rude, snotty, and get huffy when they actually are asked by a client to help. Dr. Daniell always acts like he is too busy to take the time to answer my questions and it is very hard to get a call back from anyone, even when my pet is staying there. The technician's are knowledgeable but instead of asking a doctor they answer my questions for me and as far as I know ... none have any training outside of having worked there. My experience wasn't a pleasnt one, but I hope that yours is much better. Pros: Doctors are very talented Cons: You just aren't treated well by the staff more

Lack of customer service for repeat customers 3/31/2007

I just took my pet to get his yearly shots. I walked in at 1130 pm on a saturday. As I arrived I noticed that their schedule said they closed at noon. I signed in, and had to wait 15 minutes before they even aknowledged me. After 15 minutes, a lady asked us what we were here for, and as soon as she found out, she stated that she wouldn't be able to fit us in and basically told us to leave. Their weekday schedule is only until 6 pm, and as I work in Alpharetta that is really inconvenient. I realized on my way home that I didn't even get her name for when I call to complain about her, so I called the place back, but they would not pick up the phone although it was only 1150 am at the time. There were no apologies or compassion in her voice, she didn't look for any alternatives for us, and her attitude was inexcusable. I seriously doubt that the owner of the clinic or the doctor in charge at the time, wouldn't have taken 10 more minutes to give a healthy cat his shots. Really dissapointing for a returning customer!! Cons: Poor and negative attitude from office staff more
