I've been going to Unique Tailor for the last 4 years, you could call me a loyal customer., and I have never returned anything because of poor quality of work. I collect vintage clothing and Unique Tailor has altered just about every piece that I own along with every pair of jeans I own. Today I returned with 3 pairs of dress pants my husband took in 3 months prior. Each hem that they did had already fallen out and the pants were unwearable. The hem jobs were very poorly done. In fact, I have noticed that the quality of work over the last 6 months has really declined. When I arrived I was told there was a 30 day return policy. Understood, that's fair. I asked how long a new hem should typically stay in a pair of pants (much less all 3) and I was again informed of the 30 day return policy. So I then asked for assurance that if I do leave the pants again the work would be quality. The owner stormed off and left me standing at the counter. I am very sad that I was treated that way because I did truely value their quick, affordable work. Bottom line is that you get what you pay for... I'm looking for a nice new tailor now!
