My boyfriend and I took our dog to Crown Valley Animal Hospital back in Dec. 2008 when we had an emergency and this was the only hospital we knew that is open 24 hours 7 days a week. What a HORRIBLE experience. \r
\r
Dr. Ivers preys on people that love their animals unconditionally and that will do and pay anything to make them well. One overnight stay, 2K later and my dog is now doing worse then when I brought him in and is 3 pounds lighter (for a little dog that?s a good amount). When I questioned Dr. Ivers about this he tried to not answer my question by telling me that he was the professional. My boyfriend and I immediately pulled our dog out of this facility and transferred him to his primary Animal Hospital.\r

At his Primary Hospital they checked his vitals and found out that my baby was severely dehydrated and extremely doped up on a lot of different medications given to him by Dr. Ivers and staff. They also said that Dr. Ivers gave my dog a lot of unnecessary and aggressive medications and sedatives that was essentially the reason why he was doing worse. My Primary Animal Hospital took him off the sedatives, hydrated him and my baby was able to come home that night. Dr. Ivers had advised me that he was going to have to stay at their facility for another day or two.\r

Dr Ivers had also charged me for procedures that were never preformed (lab work & IV?s) and when asked to see the results he couldn't give me any. He then tried to hurry up and take bloodwork. Do not trust this doctor! I can?t imagine what would have happened if I had not pulled my dog from this facility. I feel like he was trying to keep my dog sick so he could get more money out of us. Crown Valley Animal Hospital has a very bad reputation! Just type into Google (Crown Valley Animal Hospital Reviews) and you will see for yourself. They are also on Rip Off Report dot com. Please, Please, don?t make the mistake that we did! Stay far away from this place.
