Growing up, my boyfriend went to Caffe Italia with his family frequently. Since it's a nice place, he decided to take me there on the night that he asked me to be his girlfriend. I had never been there before, but I loved it! The food is delicious. I'm a vegetarian, but I have never had a problem ordering at Caffe Italia. I've eaten great pasta dishes like the tortellini and whole-wheat linguine with marinara sauce and I loved the Caprese salad. The mozzarella sticks are a fantastic appetizer when you feel like splurging. The whole place is very low-key and down-to-earth, yet intimate. I really recommend it as a place to go with friends, family, or loved ones for great Italian food.
Pros: Great Italian Food, Ambience, and Quality
Cons: Sometimes difficult to find if you don't know exactly where you're going (just like everywhere else in Coral Gables)
