The facilities are new and lovely. They have a vast array of services to choose from, and more interesting therapies such as scalp massages with oil. The therapists are very personable and tailor your treatment individually. I really liked my therapist, Kudos!
I also really enjoyed the locker room and it's private shower, and provided bath robes with sandals. I actually wanted to spend more time in the locker room instead of immediately rushing out to the car at the end of my massage, which was a first.
I did not really appreciate the sales pitches, (buy a package of 5 massages and get 1 free!). In this economy, who's buying that many massages at once? It's like $500 of massages.
My big complaint was billing. I had a gift certificate they "couldn't find on file" and I felt they insinuated it was fraudulent activity because their system couldn't find my gift card. Well guess what, I had to pay full price and they "had to call corporate to see what to do, and we'll call you tomorrow." I didn't get a phone call the next day and I had to follow up with the staff. Then they wanted my credit card # to credit the account, and did not say anything about calling corporate offices, but apparently that the credit could be done no problem. *sigh*
I hate having to follow up to be sure other people do what they are supposed to do. I feel like I do that at work everyday, there's no need for it at my spa where I'm supposed to leave relaxed and not all jazzed about being overcharged.
Overall, I'm not sure I'll go back. I do like the therapist and the facility. Their Vichy shower looks super awesome and I really want to try it. The whole billing thing was a pain and quite irritating, so if I don't go back, it's more out of spite.
Pros: large array of services, awesome therapist, beautiful spa
Cons: sales pitches, billing issue, sales pitches
