The tech came to fix our Viking cooktop. When he left, the knobs were binding. I called him back about a week later and he blamed me for pushing too hard on the knobs. He moved the knobs around and the problem went away -- temporarily. But after only a few uses, it would come back. I tried everything to fix the problem but it would not go away. Then, their office refused to come back and fix it unless I paid for another visit.\r

Of course, no good money after bad. I called JAG and they found the cooktop was mis-aligned. They fixed it in a few minutes and the problem is gone.\r

I also found out that Bay Area Appliance is no longer a Viking authorized repair company. Why didn't they tell me that when I called them the first time? I wonder why they are no longer authorized?\r

So beware. Fixing your appliances could cost you double.
Cons: You don't get what you pay for.
