I went to dinner her with my girlfriend and parents this past Saturday night and everyone had an absolutely fantastic time. My dad and I are good beer fanatics and thoroughly enjoyed their selection. They had a vertical tasting (albeit just two years) of both Troegs Mad Elf and a bourbon barrel ale by Founders. Both high gravity styles, two 5 oz glasses of 2008 and 2009 were only $5. I would expect to pay twice as much as that at other places.
As far as the food, my mom and I got their lamb shepard's pie special which was perfect. My girlfriend got a bolognese dish I believe and my dad got fish and chips. They both were very pleased with their meal.
I'm still thinking about how great a time we had and can't wait to go back, and that's coming from a critical person! Little dive-y pubs with a good beer selection and solid food are often the best places IMO and this is the creme of the crop in Philly as far as I'm concerned.
Pros: Great beer, food, and prices
