i had two loose stitches on the edge of my $500 Schott Perfecto motorcycle jacket. it seemed like a simple repair. when i got the item back it was literally butchered, crooked and cut into the leather for a reason i can't figure out. the jacket is essentially ruined. to add insult to injury i was charged $25.00 for the ""repair"" (it looks ten times worse than when it was brought in).
if you don't know how to repair a simple seam please DO NOT CUT INTO peoples beloved leather jackets, just be honest about your skill level. i would not recommend bringing any garment that you want to be wearable afterword to maribel alterations.
Pros: nothing
Cons: price, quality of work
