Our journey to have a family was a long one. Everyone thinks that when you get married you'll have children right away, but that was not the case for us. It took 2 yrs. to get pregnant on our own and then we lost the preganancy to a miscarriage. I began seeing my gynecologist for help and she put me on clomid and I did not get pregnant. She suggested we see a new doctor she new personally in San Antonio for help. For the first visit he came to her office to see us. Immediately I felt that Dr. Arredondo would be able to help us. He put me on clomid with another medicine and I immediately got pregnant, but lost the pregnancy to an ectopic. I then began to see him in San Antonio and went through two IUI's, but they failed. Dr. Arredondo and his staff encouraged us to try IVF and he believed it would work for us. A year later we tried our first cycle and got pregnant right away! I was able to carry the pregnancy to term and I am happy to say my son was born November 29, 2009. He is the answer to our prayers. Thanks to Dr. Arredondo and his excellent staff who never gave up on us!
