We received an unfair review here and since it wont let me comment on it I will leave one of my own.
We always diagnose all problems to the best of our ability and we have 3 installers each with at least 20 years in the industry. We are good at what we do and we have outstanding customer service. My boss John will bend over backwards to help a customer and we are on of the only stores in the industry to offer an unconditional lifetime warranty on installations. That said, we are still human and are subject to human faults. I do make mistakes, for that I apologize but I have not yet found the path to perfection. I am however happy for this man as he must have found what I cannot. I misdiagnosed one small problem in a Volkswagen cabriolet. The ""Metra book"" only had one part number for a non amplified antenna for that car and you can be sure that I called them to let them know that they should add the other one to the catalog.
The man with the VW came back enraged with an attitude and we gave him a refund. Had I still been there I would have offered an apology as it was my mistake. Had John been there I am sure it would have gone differently also. John was not there that day and this customer did not speak with him.
Most of our customers have a great experience when dealing with us as most of our business is repeat business and we have been in business for over 30 years for a reason.
I am sorry that this mans experience was not a good one. I am sure that given a second chance he would change his mind.
We did not lie to him.
we did not suggest he put his factory radio in.
I guess it just goes to show that you really cant make all of the people happy all of the time.
In the future I will try to be more perfect for people who would drag our names through the mud and call us lyers for not being perfect.
