I used Abbey's 2 years ago for a period of 6 months with mediocre results. As soon as we could find a good replacement we switched. Out of an act of desperation, I called Abbey's back this week and got a cleaner scheduled in 2 days. Unfortunately, the cleaner used bleach on my tile floors and failed to pick up our 5x8 entryway rug which led to the edges of the rug being completely bleached out (from their normal dark brown color). I called Abbey, and the housekeeper separately, and requested a partial refund of the $60 cleaning fee. Note that I didn't ask for the rug to be replaced (cost more than $60!) Abbey said ""absolutely not"" and told me it was between me and the housekeeper! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. The convenience of her ""scheduling"" business front is the perfect way for her to avoid taking any responsibility for the cleaner's mistakes! On top of all this she had the audacity to talk down to me and say ""this isn't my first pony show""....what the hell is that supposed to mean?!?! Are there other people out there living with bleached-out rugs after using Abbey's??
