Lemonade, how I love thee. Let me count the ways...Ever since seeking solace in Lemonade after a harrowing parking experience pre-Abbot Kinney Festival, I have been hooked. Their watermelon rosemary lemonade is seriously crack in a glass. I also sneaked in sips of my boyfriend's peach ginger lemonade, which was fantastic as well.
The sides are really creative, ranging from spaghetti squash with pomegranate dressing to my favorite -- the colorful and tasty watermelon radish with seared ahi tuna and sesame seeds. Some of these dishes can get a bit on the oily side, so don't expect to be dieting it up. Make sure you take advantage of the fact that they let you split the side portions into 2, and try as many as you can!
On our second visit, we each tried their pot roast sandwiches (him: the short rib and mac 'n cheese sandwich, me: the turkey and gruyere), and needless to say, there wasn't a scrap left.
Parking can definitely be tricky in the area, but once you snag a spot, you'll find it's well worth it.
Pros: Super yummy lemonade and inventive cafeteria-esque dishes
Cons: A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
