I have eaten at the Mansion many, many times, and I am currently ""sleeping my way"" through the Mansion. I have hit 3 rooms, with 3 to go. It is pricey, but it is a great place nonetheless. If you come here looking to watch TV, then maybe you want the Holiday Inn instead. The charm and draw of this place is how open everyone is to let you explore it, if you are staying. If you go to ""free"" programs enough, you learn quickly that it is always best to call ahead and see if there is an unannounced reservation required. I can personally attest that the staff in all my trips there are polite, courteous and attentive. Great place to visit, whether or not you stay. You're visiting history and a great ambience. 16,000 thumbs up for the old gal!
Pros: Best food anywhere, rooms are great to stay in
Cons: Not good for wheelchair accessibility
