I would say the things that make Carolina's stand out from the crowds of Mexican food restaurants in DFW are the food, the patio and the bar. The food across the board has a little more thought effort and quality ingredients. The patio is huge and covered with a kind of clear covering that lets sunlight in. There are fans and heaters out there to help mitigate the swings of North Texas temperatures but it makes a nice oasis to sit outside and eat or have a drink. There is a bar outside but the bar inside it the really impressive one and runs the length of the restaurant. They have all the traditional drinks you might want and also their ""La Bomba"" which is a tasty sangria infused margarita and also they have probably between 25 and 35 beers on tap which is unique for a Mexican restaurant.
Pros: Great food, large nice patio, and cool bar
