The day before my wife and I were to travel back east for a family engagement our house sitter canceled. We were turned away by several boarding places because our dog is mixed with pit-bull terrier and some places just refused to even talk with us. Shawn invited us over to safejourney that same day for an evaluation of our dog and could easily tell she was a family dog like any other. They took her in the next day and kept her for a week while we traveled. they really saved us in a pinch. She was happy and safe when we returned. she got to run around in their yard and be with other dogs. I'm glad a service like this is around.
