My previous encounters with doctors and homeopaths have been infrequent, but always haphazard: prescriptions and remedies seem random and there's never enough follow-up to ensure that I am on the right path. So, Dr. Christie Winkelman is a welcome change: she has provided the coaching I needed to follow through with an effective treatment plan. She explained how she would investigate potential diagnosis, what diets would help, how remedies worked, when I should check-in. And most importantly, she did check-in and we did tweak the plan. This assurance motivated me to continue recommended remedies and my condition has greatly improved. I was very impressed with her positive diet recommendations: they focused on healing foods that I should eat rather than a list of forbidden foods. Denial just fires my desire, so this approach really worked for me.
