I had no idea was to expect from an accu-pressure session. Every time I met Dr. Fox for an appointment I was blown away by the outcome. \r

I am a high functioning paraplegic with a lot of mobility; I was using braces and crutches to get around. Dr. Fox suggested that I try accupressure to help increase the circulation in my legs. My husband referred to the treatments as voodoo - however, I went in with more of an open mind. The first session, I actually felt an energy circuit created from where her right hand touched my body, through my circulatory system, and out through her left hand. After the session, Dr. Fox and I spoke about what I had experienced. There was an immediate understanding about the mind body connection; but I also felt a connection with her understanding of this Eastern medicinal technique.\r

I continued with traditional physical therapy - but noticed that I was now making huge strides with my work on my legs after each accupressure session. Within a week or so after my first appointment, I was able to remove the leg braces and walk with the aid of the crutches alone. I was sure it was a coincidence.\r

However after two more sessions I was walking with only the assistance of a quad cane. This was no longer a coincidence - my body was really experiencing increaed healing.\r

There is one other outcome of a session that I still blush about. I am not sure what chakra was being affected but I began greeting my husband as he came in the house each night. I would assualt his lips in a way that neither of us had felt since our early days of dating. This was no longer voodoo for either of us.\r

Though my paralysis, I have learned that traditional Western medicine alone isn't always the best approach for curing the physical body - there is a strong connection between the mind and body. A connection that deserves a further look.
Pros: Excellent, professional care.
Cons: I haven't experienced any.
