Recent visit on a Sunday around noon expecting the lunch menu to be offered (as shown on their website) only to be told that the lunch menu is only offered m-f. The lunch menu includes soup and egg roll at a reasonable price. We ordered off the traditional menu, perhaps that did not showcase the Szechuan skills of the chefs but our food was ...bland. The General's chicken dish was the worst, the pieces were HARD, very difficult to cut they were so over-done. Perhaps they were last night's food that was re-warmed and covered with sauce. The shrimp lo mein had very tiny shrimp but tasted good. The Mongolian beef was not hot or spicy at all but all of the dishes had big portions served with white rice. I found this place listed as the best Chinese in the twin cities....but I'm not sure. Perhaps if you order off the non-traditional part of the menu it might be OK. Other dishes we saw being served look good. As far as I'm concerned the jury is still out on this place.
Pros: ...must be the dishes I haven't tried.
Cons: No lunch menu on the weekend
