i've been eating sushi for nearly a decade now, and have had it in many different places around the country. the sushi at tokyo is always fresh and delicious, and at times is some of the best i've ever had.\r
\r
pros: reasonable (but by no means ""cheap"") prices, which are better than many other local places, their BYOB policy (there's an excellent wine shop around the corner) and, of course, their excellent sushi. their staff is very nice as well.\r
\r
cons: their service can be nothing short of intolerable on friday and saturday nights when they're slammed. i recommend going for lunch any day, or dinner on the quiet nights. skip the rush nights, because the place is packed and your experience will suffer as a result.\r
\r
all things considered, this is likely the best sushi you're going to find in R.I.
