Upon reading the reviews here, a large group of us, ages ranging from mid 20's to late 30's, decided to give Duffy's a try, karaoke on Saturday night, why not? That is a question that I unfortunately am now able to answer. As soon as you walk through the door, your are overwhelmed by a scent of nursing home, you know, that smell that you remember as a little kid every time you visited your extended family. Actual setup of the bar/restaurant, not horrible, so we decided to stay, have some brews and eat some sandwiches. Enter our second mistake! While the food tasted decent, I got the Turkey Reuben with slaw, the sickness that it induced did not taste well. At about 2:30AM, the reuben came back the way it went down, and let me tell you, it was not pleasent. Now lets move on to the patrons...average age 55, average level of karaoke singing, 5 years old, absolutely pathetic!!!! To see a bunch of mid life crisis level adults acting as belligerent as they were, completely pathetic!!!! Needless to say, we will not be going back to Duffy's and I warn you to follow suit and do the same! Question yourself as to whether or not you feel like purging all night from horrible food and partying with people stuck in the early 80's, if so, Duffy's is where its at!!! For me, I will be enjoying the fare across the street at the P.T., where they actually know how to serve a decent meal!!!
Pros: Bar setup and scenery has potential....
Cons: Smell, Smoke, Customers, Food, etc.
