If you must use this facility, by all means be vigilant, especially regarding your senior pet (and particularly your first and only pet). Please, demand access to test results: workups, x-rays, etc., noting any flags. Ask questions! If not, you could find out the hard way--in hindsight--that your pet had a terminal illness and they chose to cover up a definitive diagnosis and prognosis by ""treating"" a concomitant medical issue instead, so that they could make a tidy profit over and above the cost of euthanization, which was just the icing on their cake. Never trust that they are willing to educate you around the truth.
