I was very disappointed with the service that we received from Watson's funeral home. The funeral director didn't ask if we wanted a picture of mom in the paper, which should have been done. Our family member didn't look like anything like she did in life. Her hair was wrong and because of the angle she was at in the casket and low pillows, she had a double chin-she would have absolutely hated that!. The funeral was disorganized, and the director said he couldn't get a police escort so we were snaked in an illegal funeral procession of sorts through the countryside backroads. After four days, mom's grave still has no name placard and a potted plant and the casket spray were thrown on top of the grave fill haphazardly. I really feel like mom deserved better and since we were in shock and upset at the time, it was really up to the funeral director to help set up the service. We needed help and I feel that the minimum was done. Wish we had gone to Smiths'!
Pros: Chapel, lets people pick own pastor
Cons: Not able or willing to be totally involved in family planning and being sure family is satisfied.
