When I was a kid, my dad used to run the pizza booth (fried dough) at the St. Lawrence School carnival down the block from Zuppardi's. We used to get all our dough and sauce from Zup's. I would always have to run and meet Mama Zuppardi and help her bring over extra dough and sauce.\r

I love Zuppardi's Apizza. It's been a staple in my family for many years. I live in Brooklyn now and still haven't found any pizza that rivals these great joints in the New Haven area. And when I come home, I go to Zuppardi's!
Pros: Great crust, sauce and ingredients. A knock-out pie!
Cons: I don't work the carnival anymore.
