I had been taking my 13 sheltie to Dr. Paula for a number of years. It was discovered he had a large tumor on his spleen that needed removing. Dr. Paula took hin to surgery to discover there were two baseball size tumors. She removed them and drove them to the state lab herself so she could speak to the Pathologist directly. Bailey feel very ill after surgery. This vet slept on a blowup mattress next to him in the clinic for three nights trying to nurse him back to health. She emailed colleagues and experts in the field seeking other options to make sure she had not missed anything. After and long a brave battle by both Bailey and Dr. Paula he crossed the rainbow bridge. Being the dog lover that I am I started looking for another family memeber, Dr, Paula offered to go with me to the animal shelter to look for another dog. I have 4 year old twins at home and she wanted to do a quick exam and temperment test the dog. We welcomed Sadie into our family that day. You can look long and hard and will not find another human or vet on this earth that would go to those extremes. What a blessing!
