I ate lunch here with three kids today, and it was a very bad experience. We were seated in the smoking area without being told there was smoking on the patio; this created quite a scene with a problem customer when I asked to be moved inside after another customer indicated she was going to smoke at the table next to us. Though there was a kid's menu, all three kids kids did not like the buttered noodles; my crab cakes were greasy and bland other than the flash of jalapeno, and my cole slaw seemed several days old by its color, texture, and appearance. The service was very good, and the management was concerned after my run in with the rude customer, but I would not go back here even for an adult evening: for this price, you can get excellent food at places like Heartland's wine bar. This seems to be a suburban restaurant in the city.
