We brought our dog to AVAH over two years ago because of lymphoma. No one else would deal with it. This is a very aggressive cancer with a 2-3 month time once it is diagnosed. We were given all the information, options and treatment protocols by the oncologist who is a very warm, caring person. This cancer continuously comes back no matter what is done. However, instead of only 2-3 months with our beloved dog, we had over 2 years!!! He enjoyed going in to see his "buddies" in oncology, He had to be dragged in to his previous vet. Big difference. We ended up bringing our 3 cats there also, transferring them from the vet we had when one started severe kidney failure which the previous vet had been seeing her for but didn't take care of it properly putting her Saturday visit off until Monday when "we will see what we should do".
