Years of feeling like I never knew if what a mechanic was telling me was right on or not, getting ripped off. This time a mechanic got caught. The DEALER's mechanic said, oh you need a a new water pump, for sure, it was spuring water everywhere. Gets another guy to come over and say, yeah I saw that too. They had just finished putting in a very expensive new transmission (which we had known about Xpertech, found out their new transmissions are a much better deal). Anyway, I headed over to Xpertech, thinking it might cost just a little less (it did). They had moved their shop very near to where we live. I got a call from Xpertech. "Who told you that you needed a new wate pump?" It appeared my water pump was fine. That feeling of knowing that someone had blatantly lied to your face, especially when you are a woman and you know those kind of people tend to target women and elderly, makes you SO MAD. You want to go get a cream pie and mash it into their face while chanting, Liar
