Our family goes to the stand at least every other week, especially in the summer. It's a great place to take the kids and not have to cook, without spending a fortune (like most of the other restaurants in this area). It's somewhere between fast food and a sit-down restaurant, and no fast food joint I've seen has live jazz two nights a week!\r

I have to admit, my kids have the burgers and I don't see them as being very appetizing. On the thin side. I would expect a big juicy burger, but this is not it. Though the kids HATE big juicy burgers, so there you have it. My husband and I get the dogs, or I occasionally get a salad. These are completely satisfying, tasty choices. Have I had better?? Maybe - but for a lot more money and absolutely no ambience. The Stand is relaxed, the people are nice, the patio is fabulous, the music is great. I love coming here. Plus they do wonderful casual private parties.\r

If you've got a terrific hot dog place on your side of the hill, or valley or city... go ahead and stick there. We locals like the Stand and would enjoy not having to wait for a table!!
