My 10 year old daughter was so excited to be taking her first riding lesson a few weeks ago. However, the instructor at Glen Grove almost completely wiped that out in the first 10 minutes of the lesson. She was so gruff and irritable with our daughter that my husband and I almost told them just to stop right then and there. We didn't because we didn't want to completely ruin it for her and she seemed OK. When they asked us if we wanted to set up another appointment for the following week, I was reluctant but my daughter said yes. However, when we got in the car my daughter started crying about how nervous this woman had made her but she wanted to try one more lesson with her before giving up.
