I had my car Towed to Gearhart's With a Breakdown on the Weekend. I was told that my Distributor was bad and that is what caused the breakdown. I was surprised to hear that I needed extra repairs, New plugs,New wires, new air filter, New air intake boot,Injectors cleaned, and new fuel filter. When I told him I had just installed new wires, new double platinum plugs, and new air filter he said he should still clean the plugs and put on the fuel filter.I understand Wally is in Business to make Money but I know he would have a more Loyal Customer if he would give options in Prices. > What would have been wrong with him saying "Distributoris what caused BreakDown and Price for that is $395.00." that will get you back on he road but I found your Air Intake boot cracked and that has left dirt into your injectors.
