I found Moxie's Spot to be an adult oriented restaurant featuring a variety of grilled or steamed fish and a nice slection of organic chicken dishes. There was also an extensive salad bar that could be either a side salad or an entire dinner entree for devoted vegetarians.\r
\r
The food appeared to be authentic , good tasting and mildly organic, \r
\r
MY grilled Salmon with spinach and b \rown rice was fresh, dellicious and healthy. Most of the entrees averaged betwwen$!3 to $17. Reasonale for New York, \r

One checks off your chosen items on a printed menue form and presents this to the the cashier, She rings up yur bill and places the orddr with the kitchen.\r
Within a few minutes your food is delivered to your table.\r
\r
I was there about 8:00 PM on a Monday evening. The other diners appeared to fom the neighborhood and tended to be in their 20's and 30's with an aolder middle age coujple eating there,too.\r
\r
I understand that during the day a more children's oriented menue can be offered to the chilren attending the day care nursey school located on the second floor of the restaurant. \r
\r
The proprietor of the restaurant , Nat Rubin, has transformed the place into a delighful nautical themed eatery. The site used to be a large hardware store owned by my faher and his two brothers. \r
\r
I felt extremely happy and peaceful eating at Moxie's Spot. I felt my fathers soul would be resting easy seeing how Nat has transformed his store into a lovely restaurant on the first floor and a delightful chldrens day car faciitiy on the seconf floor.\r
\r
I hope the reataurant becomes a pillalr for the local community just a my Dad''s hardware stpre was in its days. \r
\r
Reommended to the owner that the take out and home catering be expanded.
