Nothing compares to Morton's in my experience. The steaks are great (be careful not to be too enthusiastic in ordering ""char"" on the outside or they will come nuked). The shrimp Alexander is a GREAT first course. The crab cocktail, despite its simplicity is utterly perfect. Tomato with a fantastic blue cheese dressing is sublime. And of course...the molten chocolate cake is off the charts (and the apple pie ain't bad either). \r

I can't imagine how Ruth's Chis is mentioned in the same breath as Mortons. To quote Larry Holmes, it couldn't carry Morton's jockstrap.
Pros: The best steakhouse in existence. Period
Cons: It's not cheap...but worth every penny
