Tonight was the night that I re-discovered pizza. OH MY GOD! I was persuaded to try a pizza that I thought that I was going to hate, thin crust, just cheese, only mozzerella as an option. Well anyway, boy was I wrong. My friend Scott is originally from Rhode Isand and insisted that this was the only way to eat pizza and that Giovannis was the only place to eat it at. Okay Scott, whatever! So I gave it a try and was totally blown away, how can something so simple be so good? Well at the counter was Giovanni himself, a real New Yorker, he said that he has been makeing pizza for his entire life and that the best way to judge a pizzaria is to try their plain cheese and that if they can't make that taste good well then I should move on and keep searching. Well I cannot believe that I am going to say this; Thin crust plain cheese pizza at Giovanni's is the only way to eat your pizza!
