I recently dropped off a bridesmaid dress ordered online to be let out and hemmed. It was my first visit to this tailor, and I had heard great things about them even though I knew they were pricey. Since I work varied hours, I went in on a Thursday, tried it on, and the owner told me that he would contact his wife b/c she was at lunch but that she might need me to come back in. I told him that was fine but to please let me know as soon as she got back in whether or not she needed me to come in and try on the dress for her to see since I rarely have a day off. He agreed, and I went on my way. Not hearing from her, I thought everything was fine and that the work was being done. A week later, she called and told me that she could not altar my dress, leaving me less than a week to find a solution to the problem. I would not recommend using this service at all; they really left me in a lurch.
