This is a real bike shop. Not like one of the new big box bike stores that will take you 35 minutes to get somebody to say hello to you. Moreover, the mechanic is not a bicycle snob. Instead of looking down his nose at mey 1978 10 speed Raleigh Grand Prix Street Bike, I hear a hear felt ""That is a beautiful bike."" I had a flat that day along with a million things that I needed to know but did not know about bicycling and my bicycle that I had no idea I needed to know.
Pros: You get fast and very knowlegeable service. I hope that the real bike shop does not disappear like hardware stores.
Cons: Who knows how long the real bike shops will last until they go the way of the Hardware Store. I save a penny now, but I pay with my time, and have no real knowledgable people.
