Greatest bike store ever!!! 10/10/2009

Ive been riding for the past few years now and it all started with this store! I ride mountain, and I also represent the store when I race. As I moved up in skill level on my original bike, pieces eventually wore out and I needed to upgrade, but every time, I ALWAYS got a great deal! Never once have they tried to cheat me out of my money! One thing thats always good is that he always keeps some older used pieces in the back, so he's always had something to keep me rolling! He always goes the extra mile to make sure everything works properly and he always wipes down every bike and cleans it up. No matter what, he will always give his honest opinion and he will ALWAYS find a way to get you bike on your ride. They sell some great brands, and they always are trying to find the best deals for their customers. I have never had any problems with anything I have gotten from there, and I never expect I will. Even if I moved across the metroplex, I would always come back to this store. Its worth it just to come talk to some nice, honest and Godly people who know how to work on bikes. This is God's store. Pros: They're friendly and they don't overcharge! Cons: Smaller store, so not the largest inventory at times more

The best bike shop ever! 9/23/2009

I have been racing and riding bikes for the past 20 years. ""The Bike Hub"" is just that. It is a hub for all kinds of cyclists from beginner to pro. It is a place you can come to learn about cycling or just to come and talk about the days ride. They are very personable and knowlegable. ""The Bike Hub"" is a place you can go to get all of your cycling needs met and will also take the time to get to know you, not a place that just takes your money and sends you out the door. What I like most is that they will stop what they are doing to pray with you if needed. In all my years, I have NEVER come across a bike shop that offers so much and I have been in bike shops all over the world. Pros: This bike shop that is owned and operated by God! Cons: There are none. more

The bike hub 2/23/2009

I have been a returning customer since the opening of The Bike Hub and have to say that it has changed my life. Jeff, the owner, is a true friend and a man of his word. It all started when times were rough in my life, my parents divorce. Through their divorce i had to find an outlet to relive all of my stress and tension, which turned out to be freestyle bmx. I rode every single day... regardless of the weather. Eventually i had to find a local bike shop to tend to my needs. this is where i discovered the bike hub, the new bike shop in town. I remember the day i met jeff with my friends, we all got along great because of his values and love for the idea of riding a bike, freedom. since then, jef has helped me and the guys with choosing the right parts/bikes/tools. he has also been a mentor to us all, a true christian man. I laugh when i think of the times one of us would come to him before our own parents for advice on a girl/date...whatever the day's problem was. Jeff has a way of giving you the honest truth... for bikes, that means that he will give you his honest opinion on whether or not you need a part... and if he can''t help, he will go out of his way to find you someone that is able to facilitate your needs. i could go on for pages, but i will sum it up.... Honest man, honest prices. a true friend. Pros: Honest man.... Honest prices Cons: people do not realize that wal mart's cheap prices mean quality more

This shop is GREATNESS!! 10/2/2008

An amazing bike shop, much better than the ""Big Shop"" in Richardson. The owner is there everyday and took his time to talk with me when I walked in the first time and told him I want to ride but I am a cycling dummy. He walked me through the bikes as well as the equipment I would need and I never felt a sales pitch, just a willingness to help. I am going to be shopping there until he closes and hopefully that's not for a long time. Approximately 10 months after going in the first time I bought my bike and he remembered me every time I walked through the door and he was always smiling. I love it and can't wait to ride. If you need a bike go see Jeff at the Hub. Pros: Excellent service, remembers his clients and willing to take his time with a newbie! Cons: Small shop and I fear he may loose out to the big box shops. more

Best Service anywhere and a whole lot more. 6/5/2008

This is a real bike shop. Not like one of the new big box bike stores that will take you 35 minutes to get somebody to say hello to you. Moreover, the mechanic is not a bicycle snob. Instead of looking down his nose at mey 1978 10 speed Raleigh Grand Prix Street Bike, I hear a hear felt ""That is a beautiful bike."" I had a flat that day along with a million things that I needed to know but did not know about bicycling and my bicycle that I had no idea I needed to know. Pros: You get fast and very knowlegeable service. I hope that the real bike shop does not disappear like hardware stores. Cons: Who knows how long the real bike shops will last until they go the way of the Hardware Store. I save a penny now, but I pay with my time, and have no real knowledgable people. more
